Private land only. This is not a road-legal bike in the UK.

The smallest bike Revvi make, and the one most children start on. Nine kilos, two speeds, and a top speed of 10mph when you decide they are ready for it.

Under UK law a bike only counts as an electric bike — an EAPC — if it has pedals, a motor no bigger than 250W, and assistance that cuts out at 15.5mph. Revvi bikes have no pedals. They run on a throttle. That puts every one of them outside the EAPC rules, so they cannot be ridden on a road, pavement or cycle path. They are for private land where you have the owner's permission.

The Freedom Factor

A two-year-old cannot pedal and steer and balance all at once. Take the pedalling away and there is only balance left to learn. That is the whole idea behind this bike, and it is why children who start here tend to get onto a pedal bike quickly and without much drama.

Inclusive Capability

Two speed settings — 5mph and 10mph. You choose which one they are on, and you move them up when they have earned it, not before. At 9kg most adults can carry it home one-handed when small legs have had enough, which happens more often than anyone admits. It comes with a number and name board, so it is theirs from the first ride.

Second Life

Revvi stock spares for this bike individually — batteries, throttles, brake levers, clamps. When your child outgrows it, bring it back to us. We part-exchange, and a bike that gets handed on is a bike that never becomes landfill.

Warranty and safety

Revvi provide a 6-month parts-only warranty from the date of purchase. It does not cover labour, or wear items such as tyres, tubes, bearings, chains and cables. We handle warranty claims for you rather than leaving you to deal with the manufacturer.

An adult must supervise at all times. A helmet is the minimum; gloves, knee and elbow pads are sensible on anything in this range. Ask us and we will put a safety kit together with the bike.

Every bike we sell is built, checked and handed over by our Glasgow workshop. We fix over 300 e-bikes a month, so we know what lasts.

Before you buy: we will call you to confirm you understand this bike is for private land only, and to check the size is right for your child. If it is not, we will say so — we would rather lose the sale than sell you the wrong bike.

Delivery: 3–7 working days. Ask us about collection from our Glasgow workshop.
