Revvi 18" — Private Land Only

Private land only. This is not a road-legal bike in the UK.

The first of the full-suspension Revvis. A 36V 500W motor, air shock at the back, 80mm of travel at the front, and 19mph at the top setting.

Under UK law a bike only counts as an electric bike — an EAPC — if it has pedals, a motor no bigger than 250W, and assistance that cuts out at 15.5mph. Revvi bikes have no pedals. They run on a throttle. That puts every one of them outside the EAPC rules, so they cannot be ridden on a road, pavement or cycle path. They are for private land where you have the owner's permission.

The Freedom Factor

This is a proper off-road bike scaled down, not a toy scaled up. On a trail or a bit of rough ground it does what a grown-up bike does, which is exactly what an eight-year-old wants it to do.

Inclusive Capability

Three speeds, so the same bike works for a cautious first outing and a confident one a year later. The battery lifts out and charges in under two hours, and Revvi sell a spare for around £140 if one ride a day is not enough. Hydraulic brakes at both ends.

Second Life

Air shocks need servicing, batteries eventually need replacing, and both are things we do here rather than send away. Revvi keep a full UK spares stock for this model, which is a large part of why we are willing to sell it.

Warranty and safety

Revvi provide a 6-month parts-only warranty from the date of purchase. It does not cover labour, or wear items such as tyres, tubes, bearings, chains and cables. We handle warranty claims for you rather than leaving you to deal with the manufacturer.

An adult must supervise at all times. A helmet is the minimum; gloves, knee and elbow pads are sensible on anything in this range. Ask us and we will put a safety kit together with the bike.

Every bike we sell is built, checked and handed over by our Glasgow workshop. We fix over 300 e-bikes a month, so we know what lasts.

Before you buy: we will call you to confirm you understand this bike is for private land only, and to check the size is right for your child. If it is not, we will say so — we would rather lose the sale than sell you the wrong bike.
